Refurbished Equipment Terms
Draft for legal review before refurbished sales commence.
Condition
Refurbished equipment is used equipment that has been inspected and, where stated, serviced or repaired. Cosmetic marks, wear and age-related characteristics will be described in the individual listing or condition report.
Condition report
Each item should have a record covering known faults, battery condition, charger, accessories, cosmetic condition and any significant work carried out. Information will be based on what Transportability can reasonably verify.
Battery condition
Battery performance can vary with age, temperature, user weight, terrain and charging history. Any battery test result supplied with an item is a point-in-time assessment and does not guarantee future range.
Consumer purchases
Consumers retain statutory rights when buying goods. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove or reduce those rights.
Trade purchases
Business buyers should inspect the equipment and agree the condition and specification before purchase. Any separate trade sale agreement takes precedence where lawfully agreed.
Returns and faults
Returns, refunds and remedies depend on the nature of the transaction and applicable law. Customers should contact Transportability promptly with the order reference and details of the issue.
